A Home of Their Own
O.K. We all know what an amazing Tree House Paul
built for the "grandkids " to play in and they really
do enjoy it a lot....but there is just nothing, nor ever has
been, or ever will be like building your 'own'.

Last weekend, the cousins got together to spend time in
the mountains and along with the games, hikes and swings,
scavenger hunts, etc.......they built a "Cousins's Club House".
They were at it pretty steady for two full days, begrudinly stopping
only occasionally for a bite to eat as they ran back out to the
project. This they continued till the skies turned a little dark.
Then, for some reason not one of them wished to spend the night in
their new creation.

Note: the hanging garbage basket (to keep the bears out of camp).
The campfire, replete with a burning log,
The fancy hanging decorations ?

Next time.....we're trapping Squirrels.
I found an old Trap we used when I was a kid and
cleaned it up and painted it ....maybe it will last another 40 years.

Let The Games Begin!
Last night after the Batman movie, and the Diamond Backs game, after
the Who What Where games, after the QT Run, and the
silent Take two experience.....Jack decided it was time
for a challenge.....No one paid much attention till Meghan
challenged Carlee to "throw down"....Although Carlee daintily managed
to peel her banana firsts...Meghan ultimately won the night gulping down
her banana with a finesse of a cage fighter..... (who know?)

Bridgette came from behind and nearly snuck in a win while
none was watching andwas just a little sorry she ate the whole thing
and no $ to show for it.
Sunday we all met after church for a big dinner of Salmon and
Halibut....with what will be remembered as "Lemony butter". It doesn't
take much or anything even interesting, for Jack to make it memorable.
After dinner, Adam headed back to work in Clovis and the couples started there
trek back to school in Utah.
